TAY Y RO COMEN

This is the first post of a little segment I like to call "Taylor and Roman Eat."  We get many questions about what we eat, what we don't, if we are healthy, if it is hard, and the like.  It can be tough out there for a vegan.  However, it's not as difficult as you think.  Here is a sampling of things that we eat.  It might surprise you that we probably eat a more diverse diet than you.  Veganism is not limiting in the least.  It often presents fun challenges.  You can convert almost any meal into a vegan version.  In the future, when there are more people following a plant-based diet, it will come even more naturally.

So here it is, just a sampling of some of the things we put in our bellies...

Coconut milk and curry stir-fry with aduki beans, cabbage, squash, brown rice, and zucchini.

Coconut and banana smoothie dessert.  Typically we have a smoothie for breakfast with some type of leafy greens, protein powder, and fruit.  It tastes absolutely delicious, but it looks too foul to post here.  Until I learn how to take better pictures of food, you will get this one. ;-)

Roman's gazpacho.  He is an excellent cook and threw this one together with a salsa on top.

Sprout salad with goji berries, avocado, macadamia nuts, lemon juice, and olive oil.

Buffalo cauliflower.  Just dip pieces of cauliflower into hot sauce, garbanzo flour, spices, and a bit of olive oil, then bake.

More to come....
